Why POW exists
When we started in Frankfurt in 2018, the city already had plenty of classic beauty studios, but hardly any place that practiced Korean skincare the way it's truly meant to work: hydration and a healthy skin barrier first, aggressive correction only after. That was exactly the gap we wanted to close.
Since then, we've worked with over 1,000 clients in Frankfurt's Nordend. We've seen real skin concerns, followed the results of our treatments over weeks, and built a 5.0 profile with 1,067 reviews on Treatwell and two features in the Frankfurt Journal along the way. That experience is behind every recommendation we make today.
Our Philosophy
POW stands for Korean skincare, translated for everyday life. We don't force a 10-step routine on you, and we don't sell miracle promises. We believe in gentle, thoughtful layering, in patience over aggressive quick fixes, and in products we've tested ourselves in the treatment room.
A classic treatment often centers on a single problem. At POW, we start by looking at your skin barrier and moisture balance, because almost everything else builds on that. You won't just leave with an instant glow, but with a routine you can keep going yourself.
Professional Foundation
Our expertise comes from hands-on practice: eight years of daily work on real skin, ongoing training in Korean methods and active ingredient complexes, and products we select directly from Korea instead of buying off bestseller lists.
Why our shop is more than a shelf
Every product in our shop passed the stress test in our treatment room first. We curate based on hundreds of skin analyses, not on what's currently trending.
Curated, not just stocked
Anything that doesn't pass the real-skin test doesn't make it onto the shelf. Full stop.

We select every product ourselves: COSRX, Beauty of Joseon, Skin1004, Biodance & Co. in their original formulation.
Advice from real practice
We recommend what we've actually seen work on real skin concerns, not whatever maximizes margin.
The most common concerns we see in the studio are stressed "city skin", barriers damaged by overly aggressive care, and breakouts. Our shop is built around exactly these real needs, with an FA-Safe label for anyone prone to fungal acne (clinically: Malassezia folliculitis).
